Joining Slimming World

About 2 weeks ago now I joined Slimming World for the first time. It's something I've been meaning to do for a while, but due to working every other weekend it just wasn't the best time to commit to something. But now i'm in a Monday to Friday job it's now finally possible.

So, last week was my first group and my starting weight was 10st5lb, which i'm not shocked at really. I know around March of this year I was about 10st3lb and I've been eating crap recently. But for someone like myself who is 5 ft of nothing then being over 10st really shows quite easily. Back in March i actually started going to the gym and even paid for a personal trainer. If i'm being honest I wasn't being overly strict with what i was eating at the time and I couldn't fit in that many PT sessions during the week either.  

So over the past few months I've been eating crappy food and feeling crappy too. So, I decided to join a Slimming World group where I was going to be weighed every week to give me that encouragement. I think a good thing is while I'm so active on Instagram it gives me the drive to want to post nice pictures of food. 

So this week has really been a week of learning about everything like speed, free foods and syn counting. I'm getting the hang of it slowly but surely. I will now be doing updates on here and sharing  some tips hopefully.
